Almost all large concrete structures depend on post tensioning or post tension tendons to keep them from collapsing
under their own weight. Many of these structures built years ago are still being inspected visually or by hitting a tendon with a hammer and listening for differences in the sounds. Infrastructure Preservation Corporation provides the first of its kind post tension tendon inspection named TendonScan® that peers into the tendon to locate section loss due to corrosion within a post tension tendon.
